Cloud computing is an advanced solution for businesses with multiple offices or remote employees. It delivers computing infrastructure, apps and even business processes as a service. Choosing the right Cloud Hosting provider, which enables using the Cloud to its fullest potential, will equip you with the power to better regulate and monitor business processes, reduce costs and increase efficiency.

Let’s take a look at the reasons which allow Cloud Computing to hit the mainstream.
The first and most important reason lies in the significant reduction of costs. Not only do business owners not invest anything in terms of building their own infrastructure and purchasing equipment, but also the pay-as-you-go model allows paying only for the services you consume. This can be compared the how individuals pay for their water at the end of the month. Cloud services include the delivery of software, infrastructure, and storage over the Internet based on user demand. As we move further down the list of advantages of the Cloud, we will find that one of the essential characteristics is elasticity which actually means that the Cloud can scale upward for peak demand and downward for lighter demand. And finally, the Cloud is easy-to-use thanks to standardized interface.

AtomDrive always provides its clients with products and services that are on the cutting edge of innovation to better meet rapidly changing business demands. And now we are glad to offer the Cloud Hosting which comes with free built-in DDoS protection. The Cloud by AtomDrive is supported by various OS, including Linux, FreeBSD and Windows. Furthermore, it will only take you a couple of clicks to control and customize your Cloud, especially with the possibility to monitor your Cloud Server regardless of your location via iPhone or Android. Cloud Hosting capabilities allow you to benefit from higher flexibility, fault-tolerance and lower cost, which is especially beneficial for smaller businesses and startups.

A new version of the torrent file-syncing program -  BitTorrent Sync 1.2- was released yesterday. It’s not all, there is more good news. Firstly, the popularity of BitTorrent Sync is increasing day by day, which guarantees the successful development of the project in the future. The number of users has exceeded one million people (active audience a month), and the amount of synchronized files is more than 30 petabytes.

Secondly, in the new version the synchronization protocol has been optimized, so now the maximum speed of the LAN is increased up to 90 MB /s. This means that a 10-gigabyte file is automatically synchronized between the computers in LAN in less than two minutes.

And now the most important modification is an open API for adding synchronization via torrents in any third-party software.

Why you should choose a Cloud infrastructure for running a Virtual Machine

In this article we will explain how to use Cloud service-model called Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) regarding our Cloud hosting solution.

One of the most important features of Cloud infrastructure is that it is not physically dependent on a certain hardware. It is a distributed computing system allocated at a really huge number of physical servers in different Data Centers. Data safety is absolutely guaranteed.

Scalability is also a serious reason why people are moving from traditional VPS’s based on single dedicated servers to Cloud infrastructure.

General concept of this service is that we provide you with a number of certain resources which you are able to allocate according to your needs and requirements. You may build several virtual machines (VM) distributing Cloud resources among them. The number of VM’s is limited only by the number of CPU’s in your Cloud’s configuration - at least 1 CPU per VM.

There is nothing new under the sun. Well-known torrent P2P file sharing technology has got a new shape.  This is BTSync file sharing system. As well as classic torrent system, btsync allows you to do things independently and anonymously. 256 bit AES encryption protects your data so you do not have to worry about hierarchy of security measures usually vital for any traditional file sharing service.

So, let’s have a closer look at BTSync from the end user’s perspective. BTSync is just an application that can be installed on your PC or Mac in few clicks. Extremely comprehensive GUI allows you to start working with the application even without opening a user’s manual.  If you are able to copy and paste a file from one folder to another, do not worry- “btsync” application will not make any trouble for you. In general BTSync technology allows you to synchronize specific folders between your devices. The service is absolutely decentralized due to P2P technology. More devices connected better performance is. This the main thing that makes BTSync different from other solutions. You do not depend on anyone anymore.
