TeamViewer® has announced the launch of TeamViewer9, the updated version of software for remote support of Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
Let’s take a closer look at the new main features of TeamViewer9 which make it outstanding and even more user friendly.
First of all, Wake-on-LAN allows users to turn on remote computers over the Internet from any device whether it’s a desktop, laptop, tablet or smart phone. Thanks to Service Queue IT-support teams are able to manage requests in a more effective way by sharing and assigning them that provides instant customer support. In addition, users gained the ability to join remote support session by entering a unique code without submitting their personal information.
In an updated version of TeamViewer there is an additional layer of security of users’ accounts gained by Two-Factor Authentication. Besides, it gives the possibility to share large files and copy necessary material from any device and paste straight onto a remote desktop in an old-fashioned way - Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V.
A new public API is one more surprise by the developers of TeamViewer9. It has been designed in order to help corporate companies to integrate TeamViewer funcionallity into their own infrastructure. Gladly, API is available for all who have purchased a TeamViewer 9 license.
