A new version of the torrent file-syncing program -  BitTorrent Sync 1.2- was released yesterday. It’s not all, there is more good news. Firstly, the popularity of BitTorrent Sync is increasing day by day, which guarantees the successful development of the project in the future. The number of users has exceeded one million people (active audience a month), and the amount of synchronized files is more than 30 petabytes.

Secondly, in the new version the synchronization protocol has been optimized, so now the maximum speed of the LAN is increased up to 90 MB /s. This means that a 10-gigabyte file is automatically synchronized between the computers in LAN in less than two minutes.

And now the most important modification is an open API for adding synchronization via torrents in any third-party software.

Short report from the fall IntelDeveloperForum 2013 in San Francisco.

Although at the fall IDF’13 in San Francisco new mobile technologies drew a lot of attention, most of the tech sessions, lectures and a significant number of exhibits were devoted to Server Solutions and applications.

And the official motto of the event- Mobilizing Intel- can be interpreted wrong as innovations for portable equipment, but Intel makes it explicit though the sessions that it focuses on the development of all strategic directions, not only on mobile sphere.

So the provided information about new technologies for Data Centers, Cloud Hosting, Web Infrastructure, Storage and Server Solutions was sufficient. And the purpose of this article is to give the insight on the innovative products by Intel, which were announced at the Forum.

We have many years of experience with different kinds of motherboards and wide range of release variations, which are offered by Supermicro.

Supermicro motherboards stand out for their built-in IPMI, which provides remote Web-based access to the server. IPMI completes the following operations at a distance: start/reboot an operating system (OS), control of KVM-switch, and gives the certain information about a motherboard such as voltage, temperature etc. So now you may even handle lots of OS failure issues without physical presence in Data Centre.
We would like to introduce you to the advantages of IPMI as well as to its drawbacks.

Why you should choose a Cloud infrastructure for running a Virtual Machine

In this article we will explain how to use Cloud service-model called Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) regarding our Cloud hosting solution.

One of the most important features of Cloud infrastructure is that it is not physically dependent on a certain hardware. It is a distributed computing system allocated at a really huge number of physical servers in different Data Centers. Data safety is absolutely guaranteed.

Scalability is also a serious reason why people are moving from traditional VPS’s based on single dedicated servers to Cloud infrastructure.

General concept of this service is that we provide you with a number of certain resources which you are able to allocate according to your needs and requirements. You may build several virtual machines (VM) distributing Cloud resources among them. The number of VM’s is limited only by the number of CPU’s in your Cloud’s configuration - at least 1 CPU per VM.
